The 2nd edition of the Lisbon Contemporary Jewellery Biennial begins June 20th and goes through September 22th. Gallery Loupe artist Timothy Veske-McMahon has been included in the exhibition “Madrugada—A Joalharia e a Matéria da Esperança,” which translates to “Dawn—The Jewelry and the Politics of Hope.” The exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, which put an end to 48 years of dictatorship in Portugal and paved the way for the independence of the former Portuguese colonies in Africa.
