Rhode Island School of Design / 16 Students / 16 Studies
On exhibit at Gallery Loupe, May 18 – June 21, is the work of the Senior graduates from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design Jewelry and Metalsmithing Department. This exhibition, titled 16 Students/16 Studies, is the result of the students’ final semester at RISD during which they were asked to choose a theme through which they could explore their personal expression as artists and jewelers. This is a unique and exciting view into the a new generation of Contemporary Art Jewelers.
The exhibition opening will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2009 7-9 pm at Gallery Loupe’s New location: 50 Church Street, Montclair, New Jersey.
