THE SHAPE OF WATER: Don Friedlich

An exhibition of “site adaptive” glass jewelry by Donald Friedlich. “’This body of work bridges three craft media: it is jewelry made of glass with textile imagery. Because some of the work exploits the transparency and translucency of glass to appear to change color with the clothing on which it is worn, while other work employs magnification so the weave of the fabric becomes the image in the glass, I call this jewelry’ ‘site adaptive .’” – Don Friedlich.
